MPG History
The Midwest Products Group success story is one of dedication and hard work resulting in continual growth. It reflects humble beginnings, long laborious hours, and a burning desire to meet the ever-increasing product demands of its consumers.
In 1983 Pat Dubbert became President, Chairman of the Board, and part-owner of Midwest Block & Brick. The company operated from a single location in Jefferson City, Missouri. Numerous acquisitions later, Midwest Products Group houses seven companies, including the original Midwest Block & Brick.
Midwest Products Group companies and their respective locations are as follows:
Midwest Block & Brick — Jefferson City, Columbia, Osage Beach, Wentzville, Villa Ridge, Branson, Springfield and Kansas City, Missouri; Shawnee, Kansas; Quincy, East St. Louis, Waterloo, and Springfield, Illinois; Paducah, Kentucky; Union City, Tennessee; and Springdale, Arkansas.
Kirchner Block & Brick — Bridgeton and Earth City Missouri.
St. Louis Retaining Wall — St. Louis, Missouri
Nawkaw, Mid-America Insulation, Gateway Insulation, and Midwest Premix — service all of the areas mentioned above.
Midwest Products Group is an active member of state associations and local organizations throughout these areas as well as the National Concrete Masonry Association. Midwest Products Group total commitment to product excellence and customer satisfaction continue to help us maintain our position as an industry leader. Today, Midwest Products Group is one of the largest and most efficient masonry and landscape companies in the United States.
